Why not to divide Iraq into 3 regions?

i need to do a project on this topic. and write why its a bad idea to divide it based on their culture and history. help please. i read that they want to divide the country into 3 sepreate areas. one area would belong to the kurds, the other to the sunnies, and the other to the Shi'ites
