Is there a specific penal code for pettite larceny?

I'm trying to obtain my penal code for a pettite larceny charge i recieved in 2005, but the court that i'm trying to get it from wants to charge me, is there a way i can find out my penal code for petty larceny without having to pay for it, also does the penal code change as a result of the charge, meaning if my charge is reduced to a violation that change the dispositon of a penal code? or is the penal code the same for all petty larceny offenses?
