Ive Baught a H L GDR-3120L For My Xbox 360 And iv Got a Problem?

Hey. Ive just baught a new Hitachi Lg GDR-3120L and it will not play xbox 360 games it just plays dvds is this broke or do i have to do something to it to make it work?
