I need help fixing a world of warcraft private server?

My world of warcraft private server broke, so i decided to make a new one. When i made this new one i had to drag a file called Ad into my wow folder. then when it was in the wow folder i had to start it up. So everything was loading fine, until it got stuck at Ice crown Citadel. At 17%, i had to wait almost 2 days and it still doenst work. if u have any easier ways to get a private server let me know but i really want to fix this one!!! If i x-out the window, whenever i try to log onto wow with my logon server and all the things u need to start up a server it still says im on my RP public server. And when i try to log on with my private server account it says Invalid Game or something. If you can make me a private server or know a solution to my problem, lemme know!
