Why do i kick people on XBOX live?

I play MW2 and i play with my friends for a few short minutes and then BOOM everybody gets disconnected from the game. I am in a basement with a wireless router above me and a connection booster/repeater for me to get better signal. It worked well a few days ago, but its like crazy now. Someone help me?
