My 69 Vette's dr side carpet's wet.It's not water.. kinda yellowish.Could this be manual transmission oil?

I've noticed a bit of a leak around the rear seal of the transmission, so I'm suspsecting it might be leaking up through the floorboard too... maybe from the top of the transmission housing? Might not even be the transmission I don't know...
