Media programming controlling how people think?
Two truly insidious examples of subconscious manipulation. Our society is very ill, my friend, 1/3 of the world goes hungry to support the soul-crushing, death-oriented system we live in today. I found the car commercial particularly dark. I am surprised at how many people, like sheep, are programmed to accept and not question these immoral techniques. The most highly-paid psychologists happen to work for the large corporations to try to manipulate the public into buying crap they don't need, and that most of the time benefit neither themselves, nor the world they live in. It should be criminal. A wise man once said we live in a scientific dictatorship. We work and work and work, and some of us can't keep up, so we end up on the street, or addicted to drugs, or , or money, or whatever it is that feeds this insane system. But the system puts out just enough neat things to keep us entertained and distracted (mankind has an insatiable appetite for distraction). If you've ever watched the surrogates, you'll know that under stressful cirstances, people will neglect or even abuse their family in favour of the particular stimulus or distraction that they see as an 'escape' from the reality of the 9-5 w/ overtime, or several jobs, which doesn't quite cut it, the threat of layoffs, the lack of time to even clean their house for some people, let alone do anything meaningful with their lives besides work to make money to continue living. This is the reality that so many are willing to escape, if not deny outright in their own minds (people have also been programmed from birth, many through their family, but definetely through the educational system, the media, and other institutions, to deny the reality they see before them). The fancy products that are made are simply meant to perpetuate collective insanity. Western society is a complete illusion and fabrication of the ego.
