lol I agree with you.... but I've realized there's not much you can do about it, right? I mean, to me most of the performance art is just tax on being snobbish or stuck up and thinking you're better than other people.... And there will always be people who need this in order to distinguish between themselves and the vast majority from where they have risen.... I have seen so much of what you describe and felt like you many times, and finally I changed my mind and decided to ignore similar 'art projects', whenever I can.. there's no other way. Focus on what you like and leave the mad fake art to mad fake people.
