Astrophysics as an university course?

I am not sure whether to take astrophysics / astronomy as an university course or not. (Undergraduate) I am really fascinated by the universe but then there are so few astrophysicists nowadays and I am afraid that I might not get a job afterwards! Those of you who do (or know someone who does) this at university tell me how it is?! Your future plans and the future career of physicists especially in astronomy. Tell me what you learn, is it really interesting like in the beginning? (include university/college name if possible or country) Thanks.
